Tri-pod

Awhile ago, 

my hubby and I splurged on a DSLR camera, 

I talk about it here.

I know that post are pathetic! 

The whole time I have had this camera, 

a few months, 

I really haven't needed a tri-pod. 

But my hubby came home with this, 

the other day. 

He got it for free!

Yes, it might be old, but this is in AWESOME

shape. 

Seriously, this guy probably never used it.

It still had all the plastic around it!

There is just 1 problem... 

When they guy, Quinn, 

got this from was putting back in the box,

after showing Quinn, 

it broke!

I know! Sad!

Its just a little plastic piece,

but glue, just won't due. 

Any ideas?

The Hardest Decision

I have been debating this for a while. 

I have been trying to justify it, 

and rationalize to the point where I can't even tell

 what is right and wrong anymore. 

yep.

who knew a camera could do this to me. 

Look how pretty it is. 

The big lens. 

The awesome REBEL T2i. 

The only thing on my wishlist besides, 

fabric, 

and notions. 

Why does this control me so much?

Why is this always in the back of my mind?

I have a great camera 

See that zoom!

I have always been a firm believer of,

"it's not the camera, but the photographer". 

So WHY!?

WHY!?

WHY!?

Please help me. 

Have any of you had this same problem please help me!

I am having a hard time justifying spending close to $1000 (!!!!!) on a camera.

Camera....

I am not blessed with exuberant amounts of money, and well if I did, I wouldn't be asking you for help.

I am getting a new camera, but need some advice. This is where you come in! 

I have decided this much. I don't want don't need a Canon Rebel, but I just need a point and shoot camera for now, but I want something that is actually going to work for me and take some good pictures.

It is between these two cameras:

Canon SX120 IS Digital Camera

Nikon Coolpix L110 Digital Camera

I have had a Canon camera all my life, and have loved them so much, my husband has a Nikon, and I just don't like it that much. It seems to me that it takes forever to take a picture, and when I am taking a picture of a 2 year old, it has to be fast. 

Plus I like all the features of my Canon. 

I guess what I am trying to say is, can you convince me to get a Nikon?

Yes, I realize that Canon has a more comparable camera to this Nikon, the 

Canon PowerShot SX1 IS, 

but I hate the stupid viewing screen thingy. Any suggestions??
