Everybody has these

Everyone has these bags. From conferences, vacations, and businesses. 

They are great simple canvas bags. I actually got this from a friend, so no,

sadly I didn't go on this trip, although I would have loved to.

I have also had these rose petals from the dollar store for a while, because I wanted to do something crafty with them, I just didn't know what to do. So this is what I came up with. 

I used the petals to cover the printing!! I didn't actually pin each petal on there, 

this picture is just for your benefit.

I did 4 layers of petals. I wasn't sure about the color contrast, so I....

dyed it!! I got this dye along with the red dye I have already used from my Mom, 

I guess that is why I am using it so much, it was free!! 

I suggest adding some extra petals to the dye, just in case you need to add some. 

Dying fabric is such an easy way to change something. 

Such a simple refashion.

Here is the result. I added silver ribbon to the tops of petals just to finish it off. 

I love the color, it didn't turn completely black, but turned this purply black type color. I like it.

The petals dyed too, which I didn't think would happen, but I like it!!
