Jacket Refashion

Well this is one of the many jackets I have from my grandma. I love it, it is so amesomely 70's.
I just couldn't give it up. So I chopped it up instead,
and made this:
I love it, plus it is a total refashion. The only thing that is new on this bag is thread. And even that was let over from a different project.
These flowers are leftover super nice leather from my uncle, who restores antique cars.
This is the back, I couldn't leave it blank.
The inside has old bed sheets for the lining. The yellow zipper is from an old toy and the red zipper is leftover from something. I love this bag, SO much. I am excited to use it.

Great job on this bag! Leather totally intimidates me. Way to go.

It's a total refashion indeed. It turned out really nice. Can't tell it was a jacket before. My first visit here.

Did you use a pattern or tutorial from anywhere? I have a rain jacket that might need to become a bag too! Fantastic idea!!!!
